Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Recruiter Intern to source, interview, and select qualified job candidates for our clients, with a focus on IT positions. Responsibilities include placing job ads in various online channels, evaluating applications, and providing shortlists of qualified candidates based on established criteria. Ultimately, you will help our clients reduce the time to hire by providing high-quality candidates in a timely manner. While a technical background is not required, we are looking for individuals eager to learn technical concepts to aid in the candidate searching process. 

 

Responsibilities:

• Publish job ads on careers pages, job boards, and social media 

• Source and contact passive candidates online (e.g. via LinkedIn) 

• Screen resumes and job applications 

• Interview candidates and provide shortlists of qualified potential hires 

• Create talent pipelines with high-potential candidates for future job opportunities 

• Keep detailed records of past applicants’ information, including resumes, assignments, and interview evaluations  

 

Requirements:

• Ability to conduct the first hiring stages (job posting, resume screening, phone screening, decision making) 

• Prior experience conducting interviews (phone or in-person) or inbound/outbound call center experience 

• Ability to evaluate and rank candidates based on job responsibilities and qualifications 

• Prior experience with applicant tracking systems, job boards, and the use of social media for recruiting is an asset 

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills 

• Solid organizational and time-management abilities

• Passion for continuous learning!
