Data Scientist

Desired Skills:
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Strong experience with advanced data science analytics, Machine Learning, and NLP best practices.
- Work experience in deploying machine learning models and tracking performance in production by following software development standards.
- Previous experience working in E-commerce is a plus.
- Experience using Machine Learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, pandas, numpy, xgboost, and pytorch
- Previous experience building large-scale Search Models as well as ranking/recommendation systems.
- Proficiency in machine learning with experience in areas such as gradient boosting, online learning, and deep learning.
- The ability to present technical concepts and results in an audience-appropriate way.

Who You Are:
- BS or MS in a STEM field — especially data science, NLP Engineering — or equivalent work experience in a Data Scientist/Machine Learning Engineer or closely related role.
- Passion for building ML solutions to fluid, open-ended problems.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Creative, resourceful, and productive problem-solver.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the capability to drive cross-functional requirements with product and engineering teams
