Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a key role in the Data Protection Services team, an innovative team with many brand-new services provided at the enterprise level, to provide data protection-related services such as Data Element Level Protection (DELP), Test Data As a Service (TDaaS), Data Discovery and Remediation (DDaR) and Digital Certificate Lifecycle Manager (DCLM) services.

 

As a Data Security Engineer for DDaR, you will work individually or lead a small development team to
work with business partners, QAs, vendors, and AO partners on integration, configuration, development,
implementation, troubleshooting as well as delivering services for different LOBs/data sources and
providing PROD support.

 

How You’ll Succeed
• Work with vendor to solution, build, configure, and deploy DDaR service from DEV, UAT to PROD
using BigID product
• Follow Agile methodology to set the environment, configure, test, debug, and document to
ensure successful implementation and maintenance of the service during/post-project
• Work with consumers to integrate and scan various data sources with the DDaR service
• Work with other technology partners to design and integrate DCLM with other enterprise services,
like log management, Single Sign On (SSO)
• Provide production support, and work with AO partners on problem troubleshooting/solving

 

Who You Are
You can demonstrate experience in:
• Strong knowledge (5+ years) of Linux OS administration, automation, and Shell scripting
• Hands-on experience with T-SQL, Python, and PySpark (or Spark SQL) for data manipulation and transformation
• Hands-on experience with various databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and Big Data environments (ADLS, Azure Databricks)
• Hands-on experiences of DevOps: GitHub, GitHub Actions/Jenkins and Artifactory
• Hands-on experience with Data Analysis Tools: Google Looker, Power BI, or Tableau
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow for change management and intake estimation in a corporate environment (e.g., banking)
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration and managing containerized applications in Azure
• Working knowledge of Azure Networking such as network peering, network security gateway, etc.

 

• Big bonus: working experiences with data discovery and classification tools (e.g., Microsoft Purview, BigID, OneTrust, Varonis)
• Big bonus: Data Pipelines - Developing large-scale data pipelines, including Change Data Capture (CDC) solutions for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data in both batch and real-time environments.
